I met Lizzie the mini schnauzer and her family on a beautiful spring day early October. It took a moment to settle Lizzie, as she isn’t great with meeting new people (which you’ll know is nothing new for us if you’ve read about Frida & Khalo, or Peppi!). But once she had given me an intensive nose scan she turned into an angel. In fact it’s sniffing, rather than barking or even cuddling, that is her super power. Which is no surprise given that’s exactly what her little schnauzer nose was bred for! Lizzie loves playing fetch, her poodle friend Henry, and anything that gives her the undivided attention from her humans that she craves.

Firstly, what is your favourite thing about Lizzy?

Lizzy is a bundle of joy and energy who knows no limit in her capacity to be loyal and loving.

We know every fur baby is unique, & in your totally unbiased opinion you have the best pet ever!
What makes yours so special?

Lizzy is a little bundle of enthusiasm. An enthusiastic alert dog and equally enthusiastic when playing and training. When she finally tires herself out she transforms into the most cuddly and loving bundle of fluff I have ever known.

Tell us something about Lizzy that will make us laugh?

One of Lizzy’s friends is Henry a standard Poodle. Lizzy seems to be completely unaware that she is a miniature schnauzer when at the park rollicking with the big boys.

Why is having beautiful imagery of Lizzy important to you?

Of course Lizzy is the most beautiful dog in the world and an integral part of my family. Having seen artwork of other pets at the vets we visit, I decided something meaningful adorning the walls of my lounge room would be so much nicer than store bought artwork.
