Capturing the soul behind a face…
Pets are family. Each one carries their own quirks, spirit, and way of loving us, it’s never just about a pretty face. It’s the head tilts, the silliness, the quiet moments, and the connection that makes them who they are.
With decades of experience in photography, our gentle, intuitive approach is centered on capturing the soul behind the fur. We take the time to see your pet for who they truly are, creating images that feel honest, warm, and deeply personal.
Studio Noah began with Brenda’s bond with her dog, Bello. When she traveled overseas, she completely underestimated how much she would miss him. That realisation changed everything. On returning home, Brenda combined her lifelong experience in photography with her deep love for animals, unknowingly helping to shape an entire industry and allowing pet lovers to finally have meaningful, professional portraits of their fur family.
We’re proud to be Australia’s first exclusive pet photographers, and even more grateful to have shared this journey with pets and their people for over 20 years.
Tested by animals since 2003.

The Studio Noah Team

Sarah E
Production Guru & Photographer
Sarah is an eccentric, creative soul and devoted mother who has loved photography since she was a little girl. She’s been working professionally for over a decade, guided by curiosity, heart, and a deep love of storytelling. She was drawn to photography for its power to share someone else’s world and journey, spark empathy, and invite greater awareness. For Sarah, an image is never just an image; it’s a quiet moment of connection. When she’s not behind the camera, you’ll find her riding her bike through the hills, dancing wildly with her daughters when no one’s watching, or heading to the beach on rainy days (her favourite kind). She moves through life with openness, creativity, and a gentle appreciation for the beauty in unexpected moments.

Brenda Mae
Lead Photographer, Founder
Not just a photographer, Brenda is an animal and nature lover with a quiet, intuitive connection to animals. She’s happily owned by her two pups, Lottie and Pepper, who are often nearby when clients arrive. Brenda also writes and regularly performs stand-up comedy, and once ran her own comedy club. She lives very much in the moment, often breaking into spontaneous singing, dancing when the mood strikes, or laughing at absolutely nothing. A long-time meditator, Brenda values presence and calm. This grounded approach helps both animals and their people relax, knowing pets take their cues from us. When she’s not working, you’ll usually find her hiking, practising yoga, climbing, or embracing her inner geek and free-spirited hippy.

Rosa
Studio & Bookings Manager
Originally from the Netherlands, Rosa brings all the best Dutch qualities to Studio Noah – sharp, charismatic, refreshingly direct, and wonderfully honest. (Sugar coating? Never heard of it!) At home, she’s firmly ruled by the true matriarch of the household, her elderly Westie, Sadie, and spends the rest of her time trying to keep up with her tiny two-legged prince. When she’s not helping our clients, you’ll probably find her stretched out in the sunshine, soaking up the rays, cooking delicious meals, or in the gym voluntarily doing things the rest of us would classify as punishment. But beneath her cheeky humour is someone with a genuinely huge heart, and that’s exactly why our clients (both two-legged and four-legged) feel so well looked after.

Sarah H
Records & Systems Manager
Originally our Studio & Bookings Manager, and with over a decade working at the studio, Sarah is the go-to on the how-to around the office. Armed with an array of rainbow highlighters and equally colourful spreadsheets, Sarah is the perfect fit to organise behind the scenes, allowing the team to get on with the job of creating forever memories for our clients. Sarah is a proud mum to a beautiful daughter, and fur mum to a rambunctious Aussie Shepherd, Seth. Affectionately referred to as the Spawn of Satan as a puppy (although he has been downgraded to a distant cousin as an adult), Sarah and Seth are the perfect testament that your dogs don’t need to sit still for photos! In her free time you’ll find Sarah at a zumba class, dancing and singing to boybands & show tunes, or relaxing with a solid Netflix binge.

Lara
Admin Assistant
Ever noticed a British accent on the phone? That’s Lara, our Pom from Portsmouth, UK. As our biggest animal lover (which is saying something!), Lara adores hearing anything and everything about your pets! Outside of work, she’s usually sketching, chasing live music, adding to her ever-growing collection of funky glasses, or loitering at Perth’s dog beaches pretending she’s there for the fresh air. Throw in great coffee, good food and a weekend market, and she’s in her happy place. Back home in the UK is Bobby, her beloved Jackoodle and unquestioned favourite family member. She misses him dearly, but thankfully Pepper has stepped in to fill the dog-shaped hole in her heart. Conveniently, Pepper is the spitting image of Bobby and has fully embraced his role as Lara’s emotional support office dog.

Taryn
Graphic Design
Taryn has been in love with photography since she was 16yrs old. Once our production Guru, Taryn is now busy running her own food photography business, Sundae Studio, but her presence is still known
here at Studio Noah! You’ll find her creative genius & designs behind many of our files and marketing materials.
In her spare time, Taryn loves to bake, create, sew and get crafty – seriously, her incredible-looking, and equally tasty, cakes are a thing of legend here at the studio! Taryn also enjoys riding her bike, anywhere and everywhere, usually on the hunt for the best coffee in Perth (she’ll be the first to tell you she’s a serious coffee snob). However, the centres of her universe are her son, Ro, and her mini dachshund Peggy, named after Marvel’s Agent Peggy Carter.

Frankie
Events & B2B Marketing
Born with the gift of the gab, Frankie loves meeting new people, and developing a genuine connection through finding common ground. Which anyone who’s met him at an event can attest to! Frankie hails from beautiful Sri Lanka, having come here when he was just 4 years old. He has been a small business owner for the past 15 years so understands all the challenges a small business may face. It’s this understanding, coupled with Frankie’s love of animals, which makes his contribution invaluable. Frankie is owned by a little lady called Bella, a senior Jack Russell who is the apple of his eye.

John
Cinematographer & Editor
John lives and breathes cinematography and has been film making, directing and producing films since 2007. He has a Masters in Cinematography and Screen Studies from The WA Film Academy, and a Bachelor in Creative Industry majoring in Film and Video from Edith Cowan University. He loves to create beautiful imagery, and is passionate about the technical aspect of film making. John is a big softy at heart, which comes across in how he expertly weaves a story together, pulling on heart strings, and capturing his audience.
Giving Back
Giving back is one of the most important things a business can do. And that is the reason why we spend so much time and dedication creating value and being of service. To us, it’s far more important than making money. Over the years we have donated our time and resources to many animal charities, humanitarian causes, and local events.
Please contact us if there is a cause close to your heart that we can help with.
